"The venue is very well maintained, quite pretty with lots of green and the room was clean, tidy and equipped with iron and board, too. Food was fine. I had a nice staying. Staff could do with a bit more of customer service skills, they weren’t the most friendly people, they wouldn’t acknowledge customers walking in and they preferred talking to each other, but they were young and I guess lots to learn still. Other than that, everything was good."

"Lovely friendly staff. Views across the golf course are great. The room was very nice. It had new carpet, but the walls were scuffed and could do with painting. The bathroom was lovely and clean, but the sink had trouble draining and the hand towel holder was loose on the wall. The breakfast was very good, the Cornish full breakfast was served piping hot and was delicious. Had to eat in the bar because the bistro was closed. The bar is fine but the bistro would have made it a more special place...

"We enjoyed our stay, the grounds are beautiful and rooms very comfortable. The staff were a bit disinterested and lacked costumer service attention. We made use of the pool which was nice but having to book to use it was unusual."
