I travelled with my 80 years old mother and she had trouble getting in and out of the bathroom so we had to cancel the reservation and moved to another hotel. the staff there was so helpful and tried very hard to find us a place to stay in town with a bigger bathroom. "The manager and staff went truly above and beyond to help us as we had lost our passports. The hotel itself is well located and the room was large by Japanese standards. We would definitely stay there again if we were in Kochi."

"Our 3-night stay at Jyoseikan was comfortable and pleasant. The staff was extremely polite and responsive to all our inquiries and requests. Our room was traditional Japanese style, a bit dated but well maintained. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of Japanese and Western style dishes, all very delicious. Would definitely recommend Jyoseikan to anyone and would stay here again on future trips."

"Very small hotel but for the cheap price, I think it is worth it. Very little carpark lots available, better go earlier if you drive. The only downside is that the corridor smells rusty and dirty."
