"I was glad I read the other reviews so I knew what to expect. We showed up at 9pm, parked in front on the street, and checked in smoothly. There were a lot of people in the lobby and bar, so it had a festive atmosphere. We had reserved what turned out to be one of the larger rooms for a really great price a few months ago, so we were comfortable. There is no coffee service in the rooms, but you can get it from the cafe or we borrowed a few mugs to make some on our own."

"Visiting from Connecticut, USA. The best part of my stay was the staff. Miguel at the Front Desk was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. Ary and Lola at the dining area were great. The hotel needs update on the key lock and other amenities. I will give the 5 star for the nice staff they have, and for the cleaness. Not so much for the hotel appearance. "

"A little bit off the path of Madrid, but worth it. If you don’t mind a bit of walking, a metro station is about 15 minutes away - through a very nice, calm and safe neighbourhood. Property is quite nice. Courtyard is a nice place to sit at night. Pool gets a lot of sunshine in the day. Staff are excellent and friendly. I felt very safe and the place was clean. One minor detail is that my specific room was in the basement and it didn’t have a single window in it. I wish that had been...

"Extremely dirty and the beds had bugs. Couldn’t sleep the whole night from the noise and the smell of the hotel. Smells like sewer. Towels were not clean. Bath room was dirty and the room is extremely small. Worst experience ever."

"The room was fine, but there was no air conditioning available this day because of maintenance, and no fan was provided. We had to sleep with the windows open, but still was not cool enough, besides bugs and trees in full bloom right outside that caused a lot of allergy issues. I'm sure this hotel is normally fine, it seems nice. But this was a scheduled maintenance, and we were not told when we checked in that no A/C would be available. They should not have accepted reservations for this...
