"Kokoro is a serene and beautiful place to stay, a great hub for enjoying the outdoor adventures of Fortuna. The property has natural hot springs, a lovely pool, and refreshing outdoor dining area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; only the lighting could be better. The staff are so kind and helpful! The location is just outside the hubub of the town, yet convenient to all you could want to do. We highly recommend Kokoro if you are in the Fortuna area!"

"We stayed two nights at this hotel in August. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and setting. However - beware of hidden charges. We booked a family suite for a 2 night stay through Expedia. We are a family of 3 with a 14yo but when we got to the hotel they were expecting an infant and charged us an extra $52 per night supplement ($104 in total which was an unpleasant surprise). We had not had this problem in any other hotels during our trip so this was disappointing (hence the 4 stars vs...
