"DeVere Wokefield exceeded our expectations considerably. We upgraded to a room in the Mansion House and the view from the window was beautiful. Even though there were wedding parties both nights we were there, we would not have known it had we not met people during breakfast and photo shoots. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The Mansion House could not have been a more lovely surprise. Inexpensive taxi ride to Reading to see the Silchester Eagle and the UK copy of the Bayeaux...

"The Hotel is much improved with it's refurbished rooms. Breakfast was one of the best we have had for a ' Self service' cooked breakfast was lovely and hot on both days. I would suggest that the lunch and evening menus could do with a change.. very basic which meant we didn't eat in the hotel. Our only other suggestion would be for the bathroom...please put a shower caddy in the shower to take shampoo, shower gel etc and because the sink is very small and the shelf above very tiny think about an...
