"We’ve stayed at this hotel before so we knew somethings about it in advance. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly helpful staff. Special mention must go to restaurant staff member George who went out and got my wife gluten free bread for breakfast as they didn’t have any that morning. Together with a lovely lady called Sue breakfast was tasty pleasant and fun! Reception staff were very polite and professional. We would use this hotel again if the need arose. "

"Friendly staff in this hotel, food excellent and varied. Lovely big bedroom, comfy beds with vintage furniture, bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover. Superb view looking over the river with the swans and ducks. No lift in the hotel so I did struggle with the stairs."
