Came back from dinner to find it had set itself to 24, room booking hot and unable to cook as it won't go into cooking mode. Hotel itself is fine. Nothing special and don't expect a view - room windows are tiny and for good reason, you have a view either of the Holiday Inn car park or of the side of a block of flats across a narrow alley."

"Nice place outside Lincoln - easy to find, good parking, nice surroundings. Place is clean and tidy, room decent size with good facilities. Only issue was shower over bath which was fine but would have preferred walk-in. Good eating options at the attached Pub."

"Reasonably priced hotel with buffet breakfast included! Friendly staff, large rooms and great location if you're visiting Lincoln castle/city. Would definitely recommend and use again! Wish they had EV chargers but I'm sure they'll come in time."

"Have stayed in The Unicorn many times in the past and have been very satisfied however this particular room lacked in a few small things. One side of the double bed did not have any surface to place personal items such as watch, phone and wallet or cash etc. Because of the exceptional large bed there was not enough room for a bedside cabinet on that side but maybe a small shelf would be handy. Also one side of the bed had a light switch but it didn’t appear to do anything, I would have expected...

"We had a 2 night stay with our parents. The four of us were treated so well from the moment we checked in. The food is absolutely lovely, the breakfast has a lovely full English selection as well as continental breakfast. The evening meal was excellent - very high quality food. Good wine selection too. The rooms are large and well appointed with stunning views. Many of the rooms are shower over a bath - so be sure to check if you need a walk in shower. The staff were amazing - so many...

Owner helped to get luggage up and offered to bring down when the time came. Lovely breakfast. No supper served but a great local pub down the street with lots of selection and good food."

"Apartment was amazing! Really spacious and very grand! Why sray in a small hotel room when you can stay somewhere like this. Owner really nice and very helpful too. City centre c30 minute walk, which is where the main restaurants are too, although we really enjoyed spending an evening in tge apartment and having a take away delivered via Deliveroo!"
