Food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. They are clearly in the middle of refurbishment, but there was no disruption and I'm sure it will look great once completed. So happy we decided to stay here than in Oban - much better value, and a lovely evening all round. "

"A truly lovely experience. It's nice that a hotel chain takes staffing numbers and training so seriously. The staff were excellent, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. The food was also top notch and my fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had. Everything was very clean. The only slight annoyance was dogs in the restaurant. As I am allergic, I don't think that policy is particularly fair."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Ben Cruachan Inn. Our room was large, comfortable and modern. Friendly and very helpful staff, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. We loved hanging out at the bar / lounge area which was cozy and fun. Plenty of parking. Good room amenities (minus refrigerator). Lovely area within walking distance to Lock Awe and St Conan's Kirk, and a short drive to Kilchurn Castle. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would plan to stay here again in...

"The bunkhouse is really well managed and we were really well informed of how the bunkhouse worked, especially the shared spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful too. This place is especially suited to young travellers who can catch up with like minded, adventurous people. "

"The Melfort house is an amazing property with beautiful furnishings, lovely gardens & a spectacular view of the sea surrounded by lambs & song birds. Matthew, the host, was very accommodating & prepared an outstanding 4 course dinner & made to order Scottish breakfast. Our visit there stands out as the best in Scotland!"

"Beautiful setting and delicious food! Owners are gracious. It’s a small place so one can feel under a microscope a bit. Granted we were stranded, so there was some stress there but the owners schedule of things were too intense for me. I have worked in hospitality and know that the guest is the number one… they are on holiday and relaxing. That is not the way this was. "
