"Good enough but not worth the rate. There best room which they use for bridal suite has a stepping ledge onto the terrace that is unstable and there was a smell in the room. They did give us a diffuser but it was still there. The heated towel rail didn’t work. However, other rooms might be great and the views are absolutely stunning."
"On first arriving to this hotel all seemed well, staff member was polite, explained all we needed to know and helped us to our room, once in the room we noticed that it needed to be maintained better as there was cracked tiles in the bathroom, frayed carpet areas, paint chips and marks on the doors. The furniture such as the dressing table is bubbled up and the tv remote was dirty also. The bed was very hard and left me with a very painful back, the pillows were flat and so had to fold them to...
"We had a wonderful stay at Lords of the Manor. The room was spacious and clean, with high-quality towels and bed linen. The gardens were beautiful, and the food was excellent. Highly recommend!"
"My trip in Europe for 18 days. I found that this hotel was the best for this trip. The staffs are friendly, helpful and polite that how I expected the English people. The room was very clean and I love the hot bath was impressive. The breakfast was excellent. I would love to come here again. This trip for traveling first time in Europe; London, Paris and Scotland, this hotel really added up my joy in Europe trip. Thank you for working hard. Excellent manner. We will be back and stay here again."
"Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Continental breakfast was very basic.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable.
Restaurant service was slow at times.
Ideal location for a stay in the Cotswolds."
"The hotel looks spectacular when you arrive. On check-in the staff were polite, seemed a little fed up everyday thereafter. The restaurant is something that should be avoided at all costs unless you like eating uninspiring, bland overpriced food (£60 for 2 people and I would have expected something that looked and tasted like some heart had gone into it). Best option was the pub at the end of the drive or a takeaway!!
Breakfast was free - that was nice because I would not have paid for it!
We...
"Lovely position, easy parking, big room in the coach house short stroll from the main house, nice bar, lounge, snooker table, dinner well presented and served."
"Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stag. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the room was well appointed and comfortable.
Our only concern was the presence of black mould in the shower and around the bathroom window. The amount and odour were noticeable, and while it was clear that cleaning products had been used, the area would benefit from some maintenance and remediation.
Parking was also a bit challenging to find. Google Maps was not particularly helpful, so we...
