"We had our wedding reception in the Oak room for 75 guests. Everything from start to finish was perfect. The support from planning this from Emily, all the event setup on the day, the welcome drinks, food, bar And all Staff were exceptional. We all Had an amazing time - thank you very much! "

"Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Easy to walk to from the railway station. Easy also to walk onto York centre to do tourist attractions. Loved the restaurant on the roof terrace. The downstairs restaurant was also excellent for dinner and for breakfast. We paid a little more for a club room which had a generous seating area and a city view."

"Lovely couple of days spent in York. Hotel in a good location with secure parking & only 10 - 15 minutes walk into the town centre. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was very nice buffet style with plenty of choice continental & cooked. Staff where helpful and attentive and the hotel had very nice open plan décor. The pool area was very clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again."

The hotel facilities also did not disappoint - the spa was a good way to start the day, whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard.
