"Room is huge by Japan standard, a great resort feel. Did not used the Pool. The staffs were really helpful and quite observant! Foods in the buffer and Italian restaurant were great, of course good stuffs don't come cheap. The location is good, as it was intended for outdoor activities. "A really old-fashioned Japanese onsen experience like nothing else. We ate in the Japanese restaurant one night and French the other evening. The food was fantastic. Rooms were comfortable but old fashioned. I would highly recommend the room with a private onsen - we saw tanuke (Japanese raccoon dogs) approach whilst we were bathing which was a really special experience. We hiked to the ridge (5 hours return) through a beautiful forest."

"I had high expectations that were exceeded. The multi course meal designed to reflect the flavours and food from the area was exceptional. The room itself was very impressive too with a comfy bed and hot bath prepared for check in. Staff were very friendly and accomodating also. The surrounding area is full of unique craft shops and interesting places. Definitely have a night here at least in your travels"
