"Fab was a great host; shared local knowledge to climb Mt Kosciusko and delicious breakfast! The warming port at the end of the day was also terrific. Rooms warm and cosy."

"This is a beautiful little chalet to stay in. Very clean, easy check in, nice and quiet. We were greeted by a few joeys when we arrived which was lovely to see. The heated floor is awesome especially coming from the snows. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to family and friends."

"In general The accommodation was good. Two negatives the owner needs to consider: 1. Toilet doesnt have basin is very inconvenient. 2. Bathroom shower doesnt have door makes the floor very wet after every shower."

"Comfortable property marred by cheapskate attitude to toilet paper ( better come prepared or you will be driving to Jindabyne) and aggressively worded checkout requirements. When paying this much you expect more."

"Wow what a find and the best location. The cabins are modern and so large. You feel like you’re living in the gumtrees. It’s so quiet and you can wander the property and it’s also located next door to the famous schnapps distillery if you wanted a long lunch or even a wine on the lawn. A short drive to everything in jindy and 20 mins from thredbo. Would stay again for sure. "

"Fantastic location. We stayed in number 19 which is right at the end of the cul de sac and has great privacy. Unbelievably tranquil and such beautiful scenery. We would watch the Roos come down from the woods at dusk and then make their way past our lodge, and then first thing in the morning they would stop outside our terrace as we cooked breakfast. A wonderful place and we will come back again and again."

"Extremely happy with the room, trying to park high vehicle was hard, due to the work and other people parking in guest parking, if your vehicle is over 2.1 meters, some parking spaces won’t work for you"

Poor value for money

"This property needs some repairs and servicing to charge what they are charging , oven knobs broken , wood fire fan broken . Fold out bed very uncomfortable and no electric blanket on this one either so very cold child 😠 . The fire was only real source of heat in a snowy mountains cottage in winter. Arrived late no lights lefts on or heating . Wood left for the fire was wet and owners Difficult to contact due to phone reception and they run a no contact check in . I like rustic but this is rustic at a luxury price . The location is beautiful and the cabin is cute but definitely not customer orientated. This could be an amazing stay with a few extra touches which this price tag indicates would be on offer or reduce the cost to match the service provided . "
