"Not off to a good start. Was given an already occupied room. Then second room bed wasnt clean. Third room was great. Had family with us and they had no issues. Hotel was lovely bar/ restaurant was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful "

"Spa was good but very busy. Breakfast was excellent and location wasn’t too bad. Unfortunately there was a gypsy wedding in the hotel during our stay and it was very noisy and there were fights in the bar. Room was good though. Large size and had everything we needed. "

Beware when you ask for bottled water - it’s not what you think - it’s from a tap water filter machine decanted into a washed up bottle- they don’t tell you that!"

"My friend and I had a girlie two night break at this hotel and loved it. When we arrived the receptionist noticed I was using a walking aid and unprompted started looking to change our room to an accessible room eliminating needing to use stairs. We were very touched by his thoughtfulness. It was an upgrade to a suite which was outstanding and it really enhanced our comfort and experience. We had a sitting room (with verandah) which was very comfortable and well equipped with a coffee maker, selection of high quality teas. There was a large bathroom and a super king size bed. Breakfast was nice, not outstanding but nice. The swimming pool was the big treat. Beautifully warm and the highlight of the stay. All the staff were very cheerful and friendly. This hotel is special and situated next to the Market Square which had lovely coffee shops, quaint shops and enticing pubs. Can’t wait to go back so thank you to all the staff especially Ali xxxxxx"

"Lovely hotel, staff very friendly nothing too much trouble. Nice clean room, bed comfortable. Just a bit noisy from road traffic, otherwise would have been an excellent stay. Food really nice, and reasonable choices for vegetarians."
