"The room was spacious with a good amount of storage whilst the room did not have air conditioning it was cool and a comfortable temperature, which to say it was 30 degrees outside was good. There was a fan available, but we didn't need to use it. Room was clean and the bathroom was acceptably clean. There was however slight mould spots on some of the grouting and sealant in the shower. It was quiet and peaceful.
The building and communal rooms were wonderful. They felt very classy in keeping with the exterior if the building. The aura and atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The live keyboard player who sang smooth jazz music added to the ambiance.
The staff were all friendly, patient, very helpful, curteous, and professional. They are a credit to the hotel.
The food was gorgeous. Breakfast was amazing, whilst a buffet, the food was fresh and not dried out at all. We arrived 40 mins before the end of services and there was still the full range of items on the menu. The evening meal was a set menu with a choice of one or two courses. We would have preferred a single meal, but that was not an option. For us the selection for each course was a bit limited, and didn't match our tastes. However the meals we selected it were superb. Other dinners nearby that we interacted with, also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The standard was very high.
Check in and out was easy, and can be done independently or by the staff. You need to pay for parking, but there are plenty of bays."
