Great property. Nothing negative to say about it. The bar is a great place to unwind. Friendly staff. Our family room (with bunk beds) was spacious, clean & well appointed. Perfect location if you're starting or ending your day with a visit to Fountains Abbey as its only a few minutes away. Great place!

This is a lovely place! The room was spacious and clean, the food excellent and cooked to order. I asked to stay an extra night but they were booked up. Not the best location if you’re relying on public transportation.

This B&B excelled in every way. As grandparents traveling with a twelve-year old, we praise Sue and staff in making us feel beyond welcome. The pool and the outdoor heated tub absorbed much of our granddaughter's excess energy, as did playing with the resident Rottweiler Axel. The grounds are lovely-lots of holly and ivy- and the rooms, immaculate and full of charm. The traditional Yorkshire breakfast is a plus for hardy appetites.

Attended a wedding here and stayed over night for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend! Breakfast was delicious and walking the grounds was peaceful and beautiful.

Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel.
Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to.
Room attended to daily.
The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.
