"The Carnoustie Hotel is perfectly situated on site at the Carnoustie Golf Links -- Walk out the back and you're right there! Plentiful free parking, the spa facilities are great after playing golf (I played 3 rounds)! The renovations were not even noticeable except a couple of areas were closed but it has no effect on my stay. Highly recommend!"

"We were on a roadtrip from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye and picked this place randomly as a good stopping point to make headway on the drive. One of the best decisions we ever made and by far my favorite place we stayed at during the whole trip. The whole place is beautiful, inside and outside. We stayed at one of the riverside rooms and had a balcony where we could sit and watch the river. The surrounding areas are great for a morning walk and everyone is generally quiet. The staff were friendly...

Modern and very well appointed, with a small garden for dogs, warm and traditional - contemporary decoration with a french country feel. Wonderful bathroom and extremely comfortable bed. "Jenni and Mark are excellent hosts! Accommodations we're fantastic there were real American size king size beds in the rooms not the usual Scottish/ Irish little tiny king beds. The bathrooms were very modern the room was spacious the breakfast was fabulous they pretty much cook you anything you want from a full Scottish breakfast with eggs and ham and sausage and haggis to all kinds of pastries and cold cereals. They gave excellent recommendations for dinner in the area that were very walkable....
