"The pool is fantastic. Clean and safe. All the staff were really helpful on reception except for 1 man who let the team down - quite rude and arrogant when checking us in and when we needed some help with our room also. The lady that did the Bingo on 7th June made up for it though :)"

"After reading the reviews we opted for a state room and didn’t regret it. The views from the balcony and bed were beautiful. We always found sun beds and there were 3 areas to sun bath. The pool is more of a plunge pool so we went in the sea. Breakfast had enough options to suit English tastes and picky vegans. It was quiet in the room which was a oasis away from the lively resort."

"What a beautiful apartment! It is close to Nerja and Torrox beaches, which is a huge plus! The pool was refreshing, the space was plenty big enough for our family of 5, and we have to say it is our favorite place of all 6 we have stayed at during our tour of Spain!"

The only drawback was the noise from the avenue below at night with the window open (note, not uncommon or out of ordinary in Spain!). "

The food is average, but interestingly, the all-inclusive deal does not include drinks at lunchtime or dinner. Not even water or soft drinks. Breakfast includes juices and water. "This is an apartment hotel and as such there is quite a lot of self-service i.e. getting luggage to the room etc. The accommodation is spacious, kitchen is well-equipped for European guests. (No kettle for the English) also nothing provided in the way of tea, cofee, washing up liquid so bring your own. Breakfast is a very good buffet selection in lovely surroundings. "This is a very cute and comfortable hotel, and my room facing the ocean with a balcony was basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, everybody was super nice, and the ocean strip with restaurants was really great. La Herradura is lovely."
