"This is really something to be experienced. It is new (2023) and massive - hundreds and hundreds of guests. It is a spa, first and foremost. The rooms are huge, quiet, and elegant; the numerous staff are efficient and multi-lingual. Hot springs in the building, hundreds of guests strolling about in hotel yukata, views of the peaks and ocean. The optional meals are definitely recommended - the food is fantastic and also it is a long hike to get down the mountain. Partner likened it to a luxury...

"A wonderful place to stay with personal onsen in the room as well as public onsen right on the sea. The room was excellent and spacious, the staff were delightful and friendly, breakfast was outstanding. The dinner was also excellent though there were limited dining options available. "Bettei Haruki is unique having only 6 spacious Japanese rooms. We loved their two gorgeous Onsen rooms which were perfect in every detail - will never forget these onsens and will miss them dearly. "quite remote area and my rental car GPS fail to find the place via japan mapcode. Room was very clean , immaculate and beautiful despite over 5 years old. The view of the valley from our level two rooms are breathtaking.The main hiccup is that the hotel onsen was not available during our stay. However the smart tv , room balcony onsen n jaccuzi bath make up for their absent. We are not use to the Kaiseki dinner and japanese breakfast despite their varieties and beautiful dishes."
