The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. We were very pleased with our 2 night stay in Lucerne at the Cascada. The hotel is a convenient distance from the train station, an easy walk with luggage but far enough away that you can't hear trains. Reception was excellent and was able to get us into our room a couple hours before check-in time. They also were able to put us in a room towards the quiet back side of the building (little to no street noise.) Switzerland uses outlet plugs which are different from anywhere we've been in Europe....

We got off the train in Luzern and the hotel was just across the street - so convenient! The staff was extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early. The room was larger than expected and very clean. The bathroom had a nice, hot shower. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all attractions and we were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
