There isn’t much to do nearby, so it’s really a place to relax, enjoy the onsen, eat, sleep, read, and unwind. I highly recommend booking the half-board option since there are very few dining choices outside the hotel. We had a room with a private bath, which was wonderful. However, the bedroom was upstairs, and I didn’t feel very safe using the stairs at night. I wouldn’t recommend this type of room for families with young children or anyone with mobility concerns.
