"Lovely last minute night away. Haven’t stayed here for a while and I think the rooms have been refurbished. Very nice. Only two issues. Very musty smell in the room which I think comes from no window ventilation. Loads of condensation running down the window after a shower and the air conditioning didn’t work when we got there. Assuming it’s on a timer but it was cold. But good stay."

Check in was pretty quick, only waited 15 minutes. Complimentary muffins at check-in was a nice surprise. Staff very pleasant "

"The receptionist was extremely helpful on arrival . He provided a map , sight seeing ideas and navigation hints . The room was colossal and clean . I would have liked to be able to open a window but the air con worked well . My only complaint really is I do prefer freshly made tea and coffee at breakfast rather than machine. I stayed during the week . I wonder if it would be noisier at weekends but it is a capital city !"

"Nice staff and property had been kept up to date. We had the room facing the bars. We happened to be in a long holiday weekend so every night there was a patty on the street until 3:00 am. "

"The hotel staff wher excellent very friendly and courteous. The room was clean though some of the fixtures and fittings left a little to be dessired. The curtains were full of moth holes and one of the lampshades had seen much better days. Breakfast was good with plent of choise."

"I like the location as it is downtown and everything is very accessible. It is easy to get to the bus station and the train station from there.. There is 24 hour service and they attend to everything you need including finding taxis late into the night. The room is comfortable and the staff is very friendly. "
