"This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in. "It’s an older property now but still has a charm about it. The staff are wonderful. When I saw the earplugs in the room I had no idea what they’re for. It’s dogs … the place is crawling with them and they howl, bark and fight during the night. Do yourself a favour a stick the earplugs in before you go to sleep!! Amed beach could do everyone a favour and introduce compulsory desexing of the dogs. Would greatly improve it as a tourist destination "

"We were in the closest pool villa to reception. It is fantastic. Lovely rustic field. And the pool completely enclosed so you can swim happily all day. Food was excellent. Staff absolutely amazingly good. The place has been renovated back to life, but the area of sleep done fantastic and if you’ve got a pool villa, the rest of it doesn’t matter to you at all. Renovations, superficial, and no noise."

"We stayed here for our 30th Anniversary. The hotel is excellent. The staff made us feel very welcome and we received a free celebration cake. The rooms are very clean and nicely equipped. The food was tasty with a nice choice. The spa treatments were very nice. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful. It's a great retreat for a couple. We plan to return there next year."
