"Lovely Manor House / guest house , well positioned just out of town centre. Property well maintained to a high standard . We were well looked after by most attentive and helpful staff . "Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss."

"We were only staying for one night. The room was large and comfortable. Liked the little fridge which had some proper milk in for a decent cuppa. Bathroom nice and clean. Its an older property so wonky floors and sash windows. "

"Drove for 7 hours and there was no answer at the door. The phone number provided is no longer live and no answers via emails. Spent hours driving around looking for alternative accommodation. Tried again later in the day. Still no answer. Stranded in the middle of nowhere! AWFUL!!! Tears!!! Managed to get into a caravan site 14 miles from where we needed to be. No supplies but coped. Home now! Still nothing from this property. Presume it is no longer active. Impossible to contact Hotels.com. "
