The food was fantastic and the service was great. It is in the middle of nowhere but that is what we were after

Just perfect! Idyllic location and setting. Hostess was attentive and caring. Breakfast was spot on!!! Exceptional stay.

This was our very favorite stay of our entire Scotland trip. Helen and Tim have created something really special at Gulabin Lodge. We loved the proximity to hiking and the amazing facilities. It was such a good experience that we will be booking here again the next time we visit.

Very nice! Rooms are cute, comfortable, and cozy, with very nice accommodations. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed our night there very much.

We really enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, you really don't get a view of the loch. the hosts were awesome, the food terrific. Quiet beyond belief:)

Beautiful location with clean comfortable rooms. The food at the restaurant was great. Parking is in a paid lot across the road, which can be a little nerve racking due to the traffic.

Easy to find. Private parking down the driveway. Extremely well presented inside from a decoration and artwork perspective. The bedroom I had was very well put together from an esthetics perspective. Also, a nice, and well maintained garden to wander around. There is an honesty bar with a good choice of whiskeys and other drinks, plus another larger lounge to relax in. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of options. The owners will recommend local places to eat, and during breakfast...

It was great

We stayed here for two nights between Christmas and NY whilst visiting family in the area. It’s such a beautiful guest house. The owners have decorated to immaculate standard. The breakfast was amazing. Our two year old was welcomed and they gave him a little present. I had read the excellent reviews before but our stay exceeded our expectations. We will return!

The room and bathroom (2 adults, 2 kids) were quite spacious and very clean. Water pressure was excellent. comfortable bed. Hands down, the thing we loved most were the two gentlemen staff/bar tenders in the main floor bar. I mentioned to the first one that I just wanted to see highland cows- he called up a friend and sent us down the street to a local farm for an up-close. The second one gave us many great tips and suggestions for our travels. We loved sitting in the spacious bar area each...

Nancy, our host, was wonderful. Made us comfortable immediately and has a beautiful home. Our morning breakfast was cooked to order from our large menu options. Definitely stay again.

Great breakfast, rooms were comfortable, staff were all very nice and helpful. About a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shopping.

We had a wonderful experience staying here! The staff were absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast was really delicious, with great quality and plenty of choices. We stayed here specifically to visit the Enchanted Forest, and the location was perfect! It’s within walking distance of the bus stop for the event, which made everything incredibly convenient. A very special thank you to Colum, who was incredibly helpful, super nice, and went above and beyond to make...

Greeted at the Train station by a hotel driver, there was never a time that the hotel was not assisting in the best of hospitality. When asked when the bar closed, the answer was "when the last guest goes to bed". The hotel's food was the best of our trip.

The Old Mill Inn was a most pleasant experience. I had requested extra pillows and an extra blanket. When we opened our door, there was the extra blanket and a total of 10 pillows! They don't just hand you a key and send you to your room, they take you up to your room and show you around to make sure you understand how to use all the appliances and lights. Customer service was superb!
