"Delightfully quiet and peaceful traditional stone cottage. We had five nights here and were lucky to enjoy great, warm weather, The cottage has electric heating (we didn't need it) and logs for the fireplace (again, not needed during our stay). There's a supermarket a few miles away in Blairgowrie and a nice hotel/restaurant 2 miles away in Meikloeur. This was a great base for exploring forests, waterfalls, lochs and towns & villages around Perth."

"From the planning stage to our stay, communications with Tony was extremely helpful. We were greeted at the front door upon arrival and shown around this beautiful hotel. The room was extremely cozy and morning breakfast was awesome. You are given a menu selection for the following morning. Breakfast is served in a charming dining room just off the lobby. The onsite parking was a plus as a short stroll down their beautiful garden path takes you to all that the town of Pitlochry has to offer. Tony was extremely helpful not only with restaurant recommendations but also nearby points of interest. He suggested several dining options which offered a discount to his guests. We ate at Victoria’s Coffee Shop which was a three minute walk. He also recommended a visit to the Heathergem Factory and store which is located directly in front of the hotel. They are local artisans with an amazing souvenir and gift offerings. They also provide a discount on purchases for his guests. Two must sees that we would have missed had he not made the suggestion were the Queens View, a short drive away which provides one of the best view points that we saw in Scotland and the fish ladder. The fish ladder is a short walk along the river and a footbridge to the towns theatre. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly return if our path leads that way again."

"We spent one night here on a road trip of Scotland, this place to us felt grand, cosy and super relaxing! The location and the grounds on this spot is obviously the best part about it, we were blessed with good weather but I can imagine this spot is prefect all year round! Comfy rooms, lit fires, live pianist, and good food! What more could you ask for! We unfortunately didn’t get to use the facilities, as we had been travelling all day and ended up then eating late as we had to wait for a space to seat! So our only gripe with this hotel was having to wait just under an hour for a spot in the restaurant to eat, and waiting in the bar and not notice many coming/ going and then being sat in a fairly empty restaurant felt a bit deflating! But that was purely because we were gutted to miss out on using the pool/ amenities! However, the food was great, quality and wholesome so just make sure you book if you want to eat here! Reception staff were super kind too! And breakfast was as you’d hope!"
