"We loved this hotel, lovely rooms, nice bar and restaurant, helpful and friendly staff, lovely garden. Only downside was that our room wasn't serviced and we had to ask for fresh towels, when we mentioned this at reception we were told that we should have requested this but the check-in receptionist omitted to tell us that. For a 4-star hotel you should get fresh towels and a serviced room as standard. But otherwise excellent."

Old building and rooms due for refurbishment but that did not impact my stay The bath in my room was very high and may be difficult for older people to get in to also quite a few stairs to room.
