"I've stayed here twice. It's a lovely hotel with a boutique feel. The rooms are unique. The staff are excellent, before, during and after your stay. The spa, is under construction, but you cam still get services. I would stay here again!"

The bar and restaurant were great, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and had many options. All in all, a great hotel and I would go back when visiting Amsterdam again. "

"Fabulous hotel staff and the restaurants are great. The rooms looked great and had a beautiful canal view. When we first got to our room we found a used hair comb by the bed and the bathroom smelt foul. We ran the shower and the smell went away for a short period. It came back through the night and was very unpleasant. The staff said they’d look into it but I’m assuming nothing could be done. Other than the smelly bathroom it’s a splendid location. "

"Beautiful new hotel in an old university building next to a lovely park and easy access the Amsterdam's canal zone. Really superb facilities with top quality fit and finish and luxurious amenities. Terrific staff and probably some of the best food we ate in Amsterdam right in the hotel's restaurants. Highly recommend this place."

"The hotel is beautiful, classic. The junior suites we had were of generous proportions with modern bathrooms and amenities. The gym was decent with new equipment. The breakfast included in our room rate was excellent. My biggest praise, however, goes to the staff. They were remarkably friendly and helpful. It will definitely be our first choice for accommodations the next time we go to Amsterdam."

"My family and I loved our 6-day stay at De L'Europe. From check-in to check-out, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is wonderfully located at the intersection of two canals, so you have water views on either side and one has easy access to the major tourist sites, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is situated on a residential street away from the commercial areas. We were able to leave the front window of our room open and we could hear the quiet sounds of people making their way about the city.
