"We got a free upgrade overlooking the coast. We spent time by the pool. It was so nice to have a few relaxing, quiet moments when the island itself was so busy. At night, there were plenty of options close by to eat and in the hotel itself. Staff was lovely and did our laundry express for us (within a few hours). Was super grateful for the arrangement of a private transfer from Naples to Capri by the hotel as well. "

It wasn’t the best location, a little far from the center if you want to walk but there was always taxis outside to take you where ever you needed to go. I will definitely stay here again"

"I stay with short but lovely.. Angela the reception manager checked us in and she was amazing. There was a taxi strike in the morning so the hotel arranged a private car for us and we were before the breakfast hours so Angel also arranged box breakfasts for us which were fantastic. Room was large and beautiful loved the two full-sized beds put together. "

"Grand Hotel Vesuvio’s facilities and services were lovely, however as a young American couple, there were a few times that I felt like we got looks that said “you don’t belong here.” Perhaps just a little too traditionally fancy for our tastes. Would have appreciated a more down to earth vibe from staff! "

"The property was pleasant, clean and centrally located. We didn’t receive the welcome drinks we were told would be brought to our room but It was ok. I loved that the hotel offered room service. A need for me as I was forced to stay in and work all evening. To this end, the wifi was strong and consistent, though the room service menu left much to be desired: I was a bit disappointed with the menu. Two very small bottles of water is complimentary which in summer months almost guarantee you will...
