"Horizon by SkyCity Hotel was excellent! On arrival I was greeted professionally and checked in seamlessly. Room was excellent and clean. Breakfast was good with decent selection. Conveniently located to downtown for restaurants and sights to see. Highly recommend this hotel."

The improvement would be for international travelers to get early check in at 8 am after a 15 hr plus flight and have late check out for 5 pm to early the last day before going to the airport at 6 pm for a night flight back to another continent. we would wish all hotels to adopt theses standards of services-like the ole’days of traveling. Hilton Auckland was so much better than Doubletree -Christchurch! "

"The staff is very friendly. The room was very clean. We did the breakfast buffet and it was really delicious and had a lot of options to choose from. We arrived very early in the morning and the staff brought our suitcases to a secure room till our room was ready. The room was available earlier than announced. We also had dinner in the hotwl restaurant and it was very good."
