"We stayed in a different room from the one I booked. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but we made it work. The kitchen was great, it includes a washer but no dryer. The area is charming and easy access to public transportation. A wonderful car service is not to far and very reasonable."

However, when it was 3 hours past check-in I had to hound the host repeatedly to please give me the code to get into the flat. The listing did not say anything about being on the 3rd floor without a lift. Several of the pictures on the website were totally inaccurate as things had been changed/redone. "This flat is down a steep, narrow set of stairs. Communication with this host was very good, and the location is close to an Underground station though the line isn't very convenient to many sightseeing destinations nearby. This backs up to the railroad tracks and trains run 24/7 so if you have the windows open it will be loud. However, since it's a daylight basement, with windows/doors closed the noise isn't good. There is a residential neighbor upstairs whose footfalls were very audible...

We were allowed to though the place was not really ready. The bathrooms were not cleaned and rubbish bins were left full.
