This means a new fridge and also construction materials around the property (no fenced in yard for pets, plus empty bottles/gum wads, etc around construction area). The house is clean and new on the interior but does not look like the pictures in many way. We came here with a mobility impaired family member, the new high top kitchen table was a disaster. "Located less than 7 minutes from downtown Lake George, you find yourself surrounded by a nice quiet setting in the woods. Once you get inside, the living / dinning area is spacious. Enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. The outside deck has a grill ... and the view of the small creek is great. We are coming back!"

The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. "A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

The house suited our family more than adequately and the boys loved they all could move around easily, and of course the hot tub for after our mountain hikes. "Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :)"
