"The room was neat and clean. The bed was soft and snuggly. However the shower and bathtub didnt work. I couldn't change the temperature of the shower or bath and there was no plug to keep the water in the tub for a bath. "

It looked like it had been freshly painted and the bathroom had been recently remodeled. The wifi was reliable. There was a "New Owner" sign out front, so I think the older, poor reviews must be from before the ownership change. "Perfect getaway. We stayed 3 nights for a Petit Jean and area sight seeing focused trip. Dog friendly for our little gal. Really enjoyed the lake views. Older house that has been nicely remodeled and very clean."

"Everything about this cabin was great. Quiet and safe. The front porch faces the Arkansas river and is a great place to sip coffee in the morning. The only negative is that if you have difficulty navigating stairs, the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. We did not mind that too much. So, other than that, if you are considering this cabin I would give it 10 stars. ⭐️ "

"We had a great stay at the Rose Creek Cottage! Loved the updated decor, comfy bed and big tub for soaking after hiking all day. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and great pots and pans...everything you would need to make meals plus a big fridge. The Host was most helpful. We will be re ommending this sweet cottage to family and frie nds.."
