"Clean and friendly"

"we checked into our room and i was shocked! badly stained carpet dirty and the floor. the bed looked as if the covers were just pulled up. the bathroom black dark rings around the tub.. the staff made it right the best they knew how. if this hotel wants to succeed the manager will need to care about the customer. small town not much to choose from therfore there is a great opportunity to get a better rati g just not this visit. the staff save this from being a really bad rating. pay your housekeeping staff more and inspect the outcome from time to time. for me it will not be on my list to return. also note breakfast is no longer included in the rate. "

"Extremely disappointed with this hotel! The elevator did not work, I was told it’s been out for several days with no plan to fix it anytime soon, both bathrooms in the lobby were out of order, so we could not use the bathroom while we were waiting to check in, it’s advertised to have a 24 hour fitness center, but that is false advertising as the fitness center is nonexistent as it is filled with furniture, the air conditioner is extremely loud and we couldn’t sleep, the floors above have zero insulation, we could hear every movement the person above us made. I went out for breakfast at 8:00am and there was NOTHING left. I was told it was “all gone” and then told “the cook didn’t make as much as they were supposed to” but by 8am there was no sign of any breakfast at all, it had already been completely “cleaned up” (leaving me to believe there was never any breakfast at all). Extremely disappointed, worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I travel the country monthly, we will never be back at that hotel, which is a shame because we make the trip to Semmes, Alabama several times per year to see family. Simply put, this hotel is NOT AS ADVERTISED. Save your money and stay somewhere else. "

"Host canceled reservation 16hrs before trip in which I was informed of the cancellation only after I asked about how I would be able to acces the property at check in time. I would not recommend if u really need somewhere to stay because you may very well not have anywhere to stay."
