"This is a great property. Very clean and the folks working at the property are very friendly. Akumal is amazing. Swim with the turtles. Enjoy some great food and interact with the amazing people who call this place home. We’d recommend renting a golf cart to ale exploring easier. Not a difficult transport from Cancun Airport. Well worth a visit and highly recommend this location to stay."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not have been happier with the property; it was absolutely beautiful. Fantastic location with beachfront views. We loved the hermit crabs and Iguanas wondering around the property. Akumal Direct went above and beyond in providing excellent service, we originally booked an apartment in Half Moon Bay, they contacted us to advise the Sargassum was bad and offered to move us to Casa Dos Palmas as a complimentary upgrade. They did not have to do that and the fact they did just shows how committed they are to providing a wonderful experience for their guests. We were contacted again once we moved in offering any further advise or help if needed. They answered our queries and gave some good advice as to what to see and do. Uenice and Hugo the caretakers were absolutely lovely and made our stay very comfortable whilst keeping their distance.I cannot recommend Casa Dos Palmas enough and Akumal Direct everything was outstanding in their service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"

The master king bed was very comfortable. Amazing views from the balcony on the second floor Many towels and a few bathroom necessities were included. We were there in off season so Akumal was a very quiet place with limited places to eat and times for them to be open. We spent a good amount of time in the private pool that was cleaned every day. We did not need house keeping as it was just 2 people and 4 days. The Casa is on the water however you will have to walk to get to a sandy beach. We very much enjoyed our stay."

The kitchen was very well appointed, but we preferred to eat out for lunch and dinner.A couple things to note: the taxi driver had a hard tine finding it and missed the turn off. It is called Villa Seagate on the site, but the name says "Casa Seagate" when you get to the driveway. We rented a golf cart to cruise around and get to our dive shop, Akumal Dive Center (there are 2 dive shops in Akumal, the other one is called Akumal Dive Shop)."

"having such a beautiful home in a beautiful place was amazing, we’re already talking about “next time”! the property was very comfortable for my family of 13! each room had its unique scenery and design, loved how spacious it was for us and how easy it was to spend time outside with lots of seating and shade, we loved enjoying the views from the pool and rooftop. plus the coconuts and iguanas! really appreciated the on site staff, they were a great help and fun to talk to!we enjoyed exploring Akumal so much, very walkable and new things to see and do every day! golf cart rental is so worth it for getting around too. we went to a local grocery store from the provided list for most meals but La Buena Vida was about a 6 minute walk and was a yummy dinner as well as the Turtle Bay Cafe for the fresh bakery and smoothies! plus the convenience stores were great for snacks and if you go to the pueblo around 5-6pm get the elote!! thank you Michelle!!"
