"Mi Casa del Mar was perfect for us. We had a wonderful stay - loved just being able to sit on the loungers and watch the waves, and occasionally cool off in the pool. We rented bikes and the location was perfect for easy rides into the village for coffee and groceries, and the other way to Yal Ku - an absolutely wonderful snorkeling experience. We would bring a few kitchen supplies if we come again, such as salt and pepper, but found the utensils were more than adequate. Meredith was very responsive when we had queries, which were few and far between. "

"Everything was amazing! Deysi and Freddy were so sweet and helpful. The property was stunningly beautiful. So many lovely areas to chill in. Watching the storms on the sea from the hammocks at night was magical. Walking south along the shore from the house you can come to the beach from the side and avoid much of the tourist hassle. A decent amount of tasty restaurants and good activities within walking distance, although that was a sweaty endeavor in late August. The stinky mounds of seaweed were unpleasant, but my group still had no problem finding ways to make hanging out in and by the water enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Casa Iguana!"
