Find hotels in Al Maabda, Makkah from AED 72

"The hotel is conveniently located in the clock tower building facing the Haram. The room are specious and very clean. Staff are very friendly. Although the area is very busy, the hotel managed the crowd effectively. The only problem I faced is no enough elevators to serve the crowd and I have to wait for long tone especially during the prayer times rush hours. "

"Very close to haram excellent breakfast very happy with upgrade breakfast on our last day that was a treat for us . Rooms big and spacious and clean plenty of toiletries supplied . The only issue we had was noise from next room only on our last night we had noisy next door people a dn most of noise was coming from connecting door which was closed but could hear them till late night the hotel needs to make them more sound proof "

"This was my first time staying at this Hotel. I must admit, it was a lot further away from Masjid Haram then I originally thought. The shuttle service, which runs every 30-mins from the Hotel, was great. HOWEVER, where the bus drops you, it is a very long walk to Masjid Haram. My wife and kids got really tired of walking. I'm comparing this to the other hotel I staying in Makkah (Swissotel Makkah) which was 2 mins away from Masjid Haram. Breakfast was ok too, but for some reason, it felt really cold in the dinning area due to the Air-conditioner being set of extremely cold. it made eating uncomfortable. Also, the chef at the omelet station was very slow. There was only one chef and the line-up was very long. Some items which was near finished were not replaced or refilled quickly enough. I had to ask the staff and remind them that some items were running short. The rooms were great and clean. No Issues with the rooms. Just remember, if you get a room with views to the back side of the hotel, it is pretty boring, nothing to see other then construction and a few mountains. There was also one issue with the shuttle service. Once we boarded the bus at Masjid Haram, we remain sitting on the bus for almost 1 hour because they has issues with finding a bus driver. My kids needed to use the washroom but remained on the bus hoping it would leave soon. It finally left1 hour later and you could see other passengers were also left disappointed in the service."

"Clean and modern hotel in close proximity to the masjid. Option to listen to live Adhan in your room through the ceiling speakers. Great breakfast options. Great staff. The only downside if you are planning to go to the masjid for salaah in jammaat is that the direct route gets closed near/around prayer times so you’ll have to leave earlier to get through before the police close the shortest and direct route to the masjid… this means you’ll add another 5 or so minutes to walk around to get in to the masjid, so if you’re running late or want to leave the hotel after the adhaan, then you might not be able to get through in time. Otherwise this is my favourite hotel in Makkah so far!"
