"Very good value! Large room in historic pub. Building is full of character with wonky beams and creaky floor boards, and our room had an incredible four poster bed. Everything was clean and linens were all good quality. Bathroom could use some minor retouching but was perfectly acceptable. We stayed in the peak of summer (30 degree days) and did find it was very hot and there was no fan in the room. "A lovely hotel with excellent staff. Located in the centre of the town. Car parking accross the road at a NCP car park. Not suitable for disabled people as lots of stairs and no lift. Had a shower over the high bath but no bath rail was there to help slipping. Food good and I would recommend this hotel."
