"The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. We were out and about most of the time and just needed a place to sleep. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we all slept well. The breakfast was delicious and the portion sizes were generous (a bit too generous for some of us!). It’s located in a lovely quiet little village that we would have liked to see more of."

"I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history."

"Parking was very easy. The car park beside the Hotel was full on our arrival but there is a garage behind the Hotel which had spaces. All the staff are amazingly helpful, efficient, good humoured and alway go that extra mile. Great selection at breakfast whatever your options. "

We requested an early check in so that we could get changed in time for going to a wedding nearby, and nothing was a problem. The welcome we received each time we returned to the hotel was warm and genuine. The breakfast was delicious too. Again, it was no problem at all when we requested some vegan items. "Booked for an overnight stay in Ipswich for early morning appointment. The hotel was central close to local bus terminus and close to a wide range of restaurants and bars. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful the rooms clean, quiet, and with good facilities. A little small but fantastic value for money and ideal for an overnight stay"
