The bathroom was adequate with large shower, but adjusting shower height was a little bit of a problem for a shorter person. Customer service was excellent and they dealt quickly with a problem with the bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate adequate, it offered a large range of both Continental and English choices, I ate from both. The staff were very professional and there were plenty around if you needed anything. The only negative was the lift service, it was very slow and on more than one occasion there were more than one lift out of operation. Not a problem depending which floor you occupied. I have stayed here previously and would definitely repeat my stay. "

"There is no elevator in this building and so you have to climb steep stairs to get to your room. Size of rooms are the size of a shoe box. Location is very handy for Paddington station - which is 3-5 minutes away on foot. This place is only appropriate if you’re travelling alone and with little or no luggage. Staff were not very attentive. I don’t know if this applies to all staff but certainly the two ladies I met at reception were more interested in their own conversation than assisting when I arrived. However, I did encounter an issue during late check-in. The staff member at reception was not particularly friendly or professional in his manner and did not offer a basic greeting. I also noticed that he was present on each night of my three-night stay, and the level of service remained consistently below expectations. I would appreciate it if management could provide additional training to ensure a more welcoming and professional guest experience. Aside from this, my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I would consider staying here again."
