"Hotel and grounds are really nice The food was excellent The staff were very helpful efficient and friendly The only thing I found needs attention is an upgrade of furniture and decoration to the room but all in all we had a fantastic stsy"

"Steep stairs to top floor were a problem. Parking was a bit hit and miss. Otherwise a pleasant stay in a nice hotel. Food was good and staff very helpful"

"It was amazing. Couldn't fault anything! In fact booked more stays later in the year. The room was large, warm, comfy, shower great. Ample car parking and the hotel gardens as well as the Buxton gardens were all very well presented. Extremely lucky that the hotel chain accepts dogs - all of which were seen and not heard and on best behaviour. Nothing at all negative about this hotel!"

"Absolutely fabulous hotel and spa. Bed was comfy staff were delightful, food was delicious. It was great to see it so busy."

"This was our second holiday at the cottage, as we loved our first stay so much that we decided to book again. We really appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary toiletries, kitchen essentials, games, and DVDs in the lounge. The cottage is the perfect size for a family of four, and we especially enjoyed spending time in the garden, taking in the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. The location is also ideal, with popular attractions and walks such as Thor's Cave and the Dovedale river walk just a short drive away. We had another wonderful stay and would happily return again."
