"We were a family group of 13 & felt the house met all our needs. Franco greeted us warmly and was on hand with lots of help. We loved the beautiful town of Montecarlo, a 20 minute walk away, where we enjoyed our first lunch together & several evenings. Spent an afternoon locally on a vineyard tour which was superb. The villa was brilliantly located for day trips into Lucca, Florence & Pizza. The pool was beautiful and relaxing & enjoyed by the whole group. It was cleaned regularly throughout our stay. "This remodeled farmhouse in the countryside was a perfect place for our first night after Lucca. I was hiking the Via Francigena while my wife was driving. We had a wonderful bedroom and full use of the large "great room." The pool was fabulous. Down the hill we could see horses and other farm animals. The owners were friendly and helpful. Although we stayed only a night it would be a good place for a much longer period of time. We loved the rural feel and quiet. Thank you! "
