"We had a really lovely stay at Lyndale Guest House and would happily recommend it. The location is very convenient, with shops and everything you need close by, which made our stay really easy and enjoyable. Parking was also a big plus — hassle-free and very helpful when traveling by car. The guest house itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You can tell care is taken to make guests feel welcome, and overall it had a warm, homely feel. Breakfast was included and nicely prepared — a great way to start the day. The only tiny (and friendly!) note would be… breakfast never quite feels complete without two eggs 😄 so maybe one extra egg would make it absolutely perfect! Overall, a very pleasant stay with great value, and we’d definitely come back again 👍"

"Very average. Overall a nice pub area. Checkin was rushed. No parking nearby and confusing as to which car parks allowed overnight parking. Carpets were filthy and didn't look like they had been hoovered in a week. Breakfast was fine. "

"We had the most wonderful stay at Ambleside Townhouse. We stayed for 5 nights in the family room as it was the last room they had when booking. We were glad as it was a beautiful spacious room with two beds. We only used one which was a superking and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and even though we didn’t really need much they were always there to answer anything with a friendly reply. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. I cannot fault this place and would definitely recommend. We will definitely be back when next visiting the Lakes, thank you."

"We stayed in the ‘Windermere rooms at the Wateredge Inn’ as a last minute break with our pet. In our opinion the short stay ticked every box from arrival to departure. The staff were all friendly and polite. The Inn is at the edge of the lake with plenty of seating both inside and outside looking out onto the lake. Parking spaces were plentiful on arrival and offered many more spaces than others we had looked at. We dined at the Inn with our pet and food portions were adequate and met our expectations. There is a very good selection of rooms (especially if you don’t have a pet), our room was a pet friendly and was very clean and appliances were all in good condition. We will stop here again and would definitely recommend to others looking for a place to stay in this area. Thank you to the staff and management for making our experience a good one."
