"What lovely location. We were lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful ciew of the meadows and the cathedral which was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd like to use this hotel more often. "

"Arrived late Friday night to find we have been upgraded to an apartment accessed from the car park. Apartments are very nice with a cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The kitchen and bathroom welcome packs had everything needed for your first night if you have forgotten anything. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be there, but a welcome bag of ice in the freezer! Walk-in shower was a bonus equipped with separate Shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The bed was a nice size double and each room had separate air conditioning controls. Breakfast under the auspices of June was excellent, all credit to the Chef. Sunday seemed to be manic as a wedding party had stayed. June and her young helper worked their socks off as everything seemed to run out at the same time. Yet the kitchen produced even better food (to my liking) that day. Because of the central location in the city there was no need to move the car at all with everything in a short walking distance. For the quality of the hotel, maybe a better quality of toilet paper, and Apartment 2 door slams hard. Sure we may have upset the neighbours. So if that's all I can bring up, you can trust us to return."

"Staff were happy to deal with a couple of requests re changing the duvet and pillows to non feather/down filling and they had pre-installed a dog bed and bowl, which saved me another trip to the car thankfully. Comfortable, well equipped and dark bedroom. Very nice public areas and staff"

"We visited family in Winchester and booked two rooms. The staff were friendly and efficient, The service station is small enough to be easy to get around and nothing's too far away. We have stayed before, on the South side, but easily navigated the service roads between the two. Very good value."
