Our room was spacious, cleaned daily and very comfortable. There were plenty of places to get food throughout the day and the food was varied, although generally just okay. The facilities were very good, with a well-equipped gym, spa and beauty salon. There are quite a few stairs around the resort, although alternatives are available....

"When we arrived at panorama we couldnt believe how lovely the place was. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were a pretty decent size and the hotel manager was always available to recommend excursions/restaurants. "Great hotel. Heraklion isn’t the nicest city for tourists, but the hotel is excellent. Everything was in great shape, spotlessly clean and the service was great. More of a business hotel than a tourist location, but the standards are high. Breakfast was excellent too. All staff were really helpful."

"Incredibly clean, all staff were exceptional. A few different pools which were all quiet and very easy to get a sunbed. Beach and sunbeds also really clean, beach bar is great for snacks and drinks. The food is the real stand out, exceeded expectations massively. Every meal was amazing. House wine/beer is pretty average, beer especially bad in the small plastic day cups. But there is a shop on site and more shops opposite which sell various Greek beers for €1 each, Nissos was really good. Great hotel, would definitely recommend."

"Hotel was beautiful and in a great location to the port, old town etc. Also had free parking which was a nice bonus. We spent a lot of time in the pool which was much needed respite from the heat. Only items to improve here was a bit of a disconnect between the day reception staff and the night reception staff re: our request for late checkout. Night staff said yes, then the next day, the day staff said no - so it made us scramble last minute to pack everything up. Otherwise - a great stay and would recommend!"

"We booked our stay months in advance of our trip. Yet when we arrived at 11pm at night (my wife, I, 2 children and the Mother In Law we were told the room wasn’t ready(?!) and they would have to put another bed in a different room so we could all fit in. That led to a half hour delay (not welcome at that time of night with young children) and worse still we would have to move rooms the next day…hotel is good for a city centre location, but that really poor start left a bad taste in the mouth…."
