"Good size room, handy kitchen, and modern bathroom. Great views of Matterhorn. While all 75-80% of the shopping, the hotels are right of the station this hotel is to the left. So I felt this was quieter and suited our family of three perfectly. There was no disturbance from the nearby trains leaving the station . "The room was clean, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The room setup was strange with low ceilings in places due to the rafters, the narrowest staircase (with split steps) that I have ever used, and only one window in the door to the small balcony. Skylights were largely covered with snow, and noise from the next room continued until the late evening. Not exactly what I expected, so overall just okay."

"The property was perfect and extremely affordable and accommodating. It is only a 5 minute walk from the train station that goes to zermatt. It is perfect if you plan on visiting zermatt and going skiing. Paul and his wife who are the hosts are extremely accommodating and some of the best hosts I’ve ever had. The place was a 10/10 stay and definitely recommend."
