"The property was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. It is in a beautiful rural setting. There are several areas around the property that invite guests to sit down and relax. The breakfast was wonderful. There was a variety of options available and all were fresh and delicious."

Worth mentioning are the wonderful staff, always welcoming, professional, kind and service with a smile. The Swedish male waiter at dinner was super! The rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. It got a bit hot during the night but opening the window cooled it quickly. The bar at the front of the hotel was great for enjoying a pre-dinner drink, and the barman kindly concocted a mocktail for our children. Breakfast was thumbs up from the whole family. Worth staying for an authentic Iceland experience. "
