"Stayed as a birthday treat to myself and went to Universal. They gave me room with a rad view of LA and even sent a delicious dessert to my room after the park closed! The continental breakfast was awesome the bed was comfy and the extra bday love made it the best day ever! "

"Over the top great ! As with any budget hotel, the staff can make or break it at check in… Matias deserves 5 stars alone ! Friendly , accommodating and efficient. The rooms , very clean and well appointed. The pool, sparkling and inviting and breakfast was perfect. Try the waffles with cream cheese and strawberry jam ! Top it off with fruit yogurt ! Great stay, can’t wait to return "

"This hotel is a bit old, with older features. It needs refurbishing. It is overpriced. One of the hotel clerks had to be reported. He was overwhelmingly rude, flippant and highly unprofessional. I would not suggest that anyone stay at this hotel. "

"Loved our stay at The Garland! The staff were phenomenal, rooms were super clean, the pool was lovely, and the restaurant was terrific. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from Universal Studios and reasonably close to the Burbank airport. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We love everything about this hotel. The beds were amazing and sheets were clean. Love the bar down stairs. They also have a revolving bar but one MUST get drinks in order to sit there to enjoy the view. The sad part was the pool closing at 7PM which is way too early. The only disappointment was the spa. We got some complimentary LED treatments but no one was there for at least 20-30 mins. "
