"This is a pretty decent hotel. There were some issues reported about the power going out for a day which turned off the elevators. Ppl had to walk up & downstairs. There was no ice in the ice machines on each floor. There weren't enough dishes, silverware, cup & glasses in our room. But overall, for the money, you can't get as economical as this place. The bed was sooo comfortable and the hot water was fantastic. The breakfast was great each morning and the staff were just excellent. We would stay at Homewood Suites again."

"This was the 18th time that my family has stayed at the West & Main since it opened less than five years ago. The physical hotel has never disappointed, but the staff are always the highlight. Casey, Simone, Janet, Jessica, Lloyd, Sean, Matthew, Joe, and many others, to whom I apologize for not including names, are warm, welcoming, world class hospitality professionals. Hilton would be wise to use the fantastic culture at the West & Main as an incubator for developing leadership talent for their portfolio of luxury boutique properties."

"The price was reasonable for the area. I normally prefer a hotel that has free breakfast but would have had to pay more and go further out of my way to find one. This hotel had a breakfast you could buy. I didn't check it out closely, but it looked like a buffet you would get at a free breakfast hotel. My complaint is that without buying breakfast, the only coffee available was the in-room Keurig. I often rise in the morning before my wife and like to hang out in the breakfast area. Anyway, the place was clean and appeared to be well run. The fitness room was exceptionally big and well equipped--looked like relatively new and had all same branded equipment. Lots of free parking and there was no evidence of problems in or around the area. The Verizon Wireless coverage in my room was spotty and made me want to use the wi-fi but it was unsecured. This is a big beef with me and many free wi-fi networks are guilty. If you don't know what that means, anyone with a modest amount of computer knowledge can watch and capture all the wi-fi traffic and see your usernames, passwords, and anything else you type and send on an unsecured network. This is such a simple thing technologically. I don't understand why they don't secure it. I had a 35-year career in IT that included the rise of wireless networking--so, I do know about these things. Don't ever use a wi-fi network that doesn't have a padlock symbol next to it. Shame on you Holiday Inn."

"Our favourite lodging that’s close to our daughter in Manayunk. Great location right on the Schuylkill River. Great staff, great amenities and pets are welcome. Not our first stay and we’ll be back!"
