I'll start by saying that our expectations were far exceeded. Admittedly, as a US based traveling couple, we had never heard of Royal Garden Villas previously and simply found this property through the use of AI and comparisons to Bali.
Once we arrived, we were delighted with our reception and check-in process, the first walk through of the room and exterior patio were better than any pictures on the internet, and we kept it simple our first night and ordered room service.

We stayed for 5 nights in early April and overall we enjoyed it a lot. The facilities were in great condition and we were even offered an upgrade to a 2-bed, which we appreciated a lot. The apartment was clean, spacious and smelt great, the beds were very comfordable. A couple of lamps didn't work and the AC controller in the bedroom detached from its sticker a couple times but these were minor issues. The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was also very nice. Angela was a great bartender and made sure we had an amazing time everyday. The food at the bar especially burgers, chicken sandwich, oysters, were all really good. Breakfast was amazing. The only downside was we had lost our key late at night. When arriving at the hotel at 1-2 am I was told that there was not another key available and we would have to wait until 7 am for someone to get a key. We were scolded for losing it . Which I...

On a cobbled street in the sleepy town of Garachico, Hotel San Roque offers a truly unique experience for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of resorts, and stay in boutique comfort. The rooms are spartan but comfy. We stayed in one of the duplex rooms and the split-level layout made it feel spacious and unique. Would definitely return for a second visit when I get the chance!

We had an ocean view room with a balcony. The view was spectacular and the balcony had enough privacy and room for both of us to sit and enjoy the air. The saltwater pool can be a little too salty at times, but by midday the water temperature is perfect. The closest beach is a real treat with great...

Wow just wow! We’ve recently returned from a ten day trip and loved every minute of it. From the beginning the hotel was very accommodating. They provided a proper cot, mattress, duvet and pillow for our one year old and even left a cuddly toy for him which was a lovely touch.
I’d asked to be put in a quiet area by the pool which we were. The balcony had an extra piece of AstroTurf which was great for our son to play on.
