"An excellent hotel, very well maintained, right on the lake and next to the ferry terminal. The breakfasts are particularly superb and the dining options are very good indeed. Plenty of helpful bar and dining staff. Only minor criticisms are: - tourist advice at the front desk. Certainly they try to help but are generally very very busy. While everywhere else is, if anything, overstaffed the front desk is understaffed. - no turndown service to the bedrooms and a small complementary chocolate - a Nespresso coffee machine in the rooms!"

"Our experience at the Palace Grand Hotel in Varese was nothing short of exceptional. Whether we were winding down after a day of adventure or enjoying a pre-dinner cocktail, Domenico and Marco made sure everything was perfect. We left with two new friends. One of the true highlights was the spa experience with Lisa, whose lymphatic drainage massage was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly skilled, attentive, and made me feel completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was truly one of the best spa treatments I’ve ever had. We were also lucky enough to plan a rehearsal dinner and Welcome drink experience with Chiara. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew all of our options and plans for our wedding celebration coming up. Her attention to detail, warmth, and thoughtful hospitality made everyone feel welcome and at ease. She’s truly a gem. The grounds of the hotel are stunning, with sweeping views of Lake Varese and an atmosphere that feels both tranquil and grand. Every staff member we encountered was gracious and professional, and the service throughout was top-notch. We can’t wait to return for our wedding celebrations. "Old school pictures didn’t do this excellent hotel justice. The hotel felt traditional, elegant and classy. The pool and gardens in the back offered a private and relaxing reprieve. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was great. Latte is just milk. Felt like more than a 3 star hotel."
